Character Background

In our media project Anoop plays the role of a young man who is distressed by many things in his life. The background to his character is that he used to have a family but they all deserted him because of his spiralling addiction and problems with drugs. He started with soft and then went on to more hard-core drugs.  Until he was offered a specialised that he expected to give him the most incredible high, however this drug changed his whole perspective on reality and changed aspects of his personality, turning him from a helpless drug addict to a psychopath drug addict.the drug allows the taker to do extaodinay things with their brain and body but in order to maintain this high more pills are meant to be taken, Anoop wanting to maintain this high takes more pills but one of the pills side effects splits the users personality portraying the darker side of him like a schizophrenic is makes the user do dark things which acts on Anoops lifestyle throughout the film

Charlie is portrayed as the drug dealer that sells Anoops the drugs that cause him the trouble. However these drugs are majorly hallucinogenic drugs, in the start of our Thriller Charlie is shown to be hunting/ chasing Anoop. The drugs make Anoop see and hear things, this is illustrated by one second the knife being in Charlies hand and the next Charlie is gone and the knife is covered in blood and a dead people ion the cupboard. charlie acts as Anoop dark side making things seem as he did them but when really Anoop did them all. This part of Charlies persona is in Anoops mind because Anoop has some of the effects of a schizophrenic.
