Production Preliminary

After planning our storyboards and feeling confident with how to use a camera and tripod, we can begin filming our scene, we were told to keep in mind to film a match on action cut, shot reverse shot and also use the 180 degree rule.
Filming our Prelim we did not account for people walking around the school and through our shots and also the ambient sound of school children making noise, this make it difficult to film because we had to try to minimise all of these effects on our filming.
Whilst filming a school boy got in the way of one of our shots, we did not have time to re-shoot the scene so he had to use it anyway. This has enabled use to realise that when filming we must try to control as many external variable as possible to achieve the most accurate and realistic Thriller. Before we filmed we hadnt anticipated the time it takes to film. This is shown especially when the camera has to change angles so the same action is repeated. Another thing that took quite a long time was making sure everyone was ready as people were getting distracted and walking off.
If we had to do the preliminary task again we would pick a different sitting and also when the two people are having a conversation use some over the shoulder shots.
