Thriller Questionnaire Analysis
After asking students in Shenfield and St Martins school for their opinions, we found that there was a difference in the views of the two schools. We found that Shenfield students who were aged in the 12-17 bracket, supported the Antagonist more than the Protagonist. This opinion was the complete opposite view to what the St Martins students enjoyed to watch. This shows to us that in our Thriller our characters have to portray a convincing and realistic role as either the Protagonist or Antagonist.
We also found that the majority of people asked preferred to watch a Psychologic Thriller, this would be like Inception. Our results showed that out of the 20 students asked 16 of them circled the Psychological Thriller, this is 80%. From these result we now feel confident to carry on with our idea of a Thriller that incorporates the use of a pill and how is affects an individuals personality. By using the Pill taker as the Antagonist we know that part of the audience will side with the character, and also the Psycholoical aspect of the Thriller will be agreed by the audience.
Our Hypothesis in our focus group will be linked to the finding of our questionnaire, It will be to find out how the Antagonist in our Thriller will act. We want to gain information about how there personality will be portayed and how in our film the audience will feel towards the character.
